I requested a quote for a pre purchase inspection online and was promptly called by Ned. He asked me some questions about the boat and I sent him the listing. I was surprised by Ned's honesty, as rather than take my money for an inspection, he told me up front what he identified to be an issue with the boat, and pointed out things that were not so obvious to me on the listing. Also, Ned used his knowledge of the area to explain how some things on the boat may have come to be. The conversation progressed to how I would be using the boat, and I receIved some advice about what types of boats might suit me better and what things I could look out for on future boats. Sent an online inquiry to High Tide re: potential boat purchase. I received an email response advising Ned would be in contact and received the call within minutes. I explained my situation to Ned and he said that he was probably situated too far (geographically) to be able to assist with my specific needs but was more than happy to offer up 33 minutes of his time, explaining to me what I should be looking for and what questions to be asking, when purchasing a boat. Ned could have ended the conversation after a minute but was more help than the last 6 boat dealerships I have been to….absolute star
